Terms of service

Last updated 4 October 2026

Draft, to be reviewed by a solicitor before launch. This page is a working draft and is not yet a binding document.

These terms are an agreement between your business (“you”) and [Company name] Ltd, trading as Threadkite (“we”, “us”). They apply when you create a Threadkite account or use the Threadkite web app, mobile app, website assistant or API.

Your account

  • You must be a business, and the person who signs up must be allowed to agree to these terms for it.
  • You are responsible for the people you invite and for keeping sign-in details secure.
  • You choose the seats you pay for. Each seat is for one named person.

Plans, trials and payment

  • Every new account starts with a 14-day trial with everything included, and no card is needed.
  • If the trial ends without a paid plan, your account moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted.
  • Paid plans are charged per seat, monthly or yearly, in advance. Seat changes take effect straight away and are charged or credited for the rest of the period.
  • Prices exclude VAT and other sales taxes, which are added where they apply.

Providers you connect

Texts, WhatsApp messages, calls and marketplace messages go through accounts you hold with those providers (for example Twilio, Meta or RingCentral). Their terms and charges apply, and they bill you directly.

Your data

You own the data you put into Threadkite. We process it on your behalf under our data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms. You can export your data at any time.

Acceptable use

You must not use Threadkite to send messages without the consent the law requires, to send spam, or to break any law. We may suspend sending if bounce or complaint rates put other customers at risk.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Settings. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for.

Liability, changes and law

[To be completed by a solicitor: limitation of liability, service levels, changes to these terms, termination, and governing law (England and Wales).]
