- 3
Get it back signed
See when each signer has opened and signed. The sealed copy comes back to the thread and to every signer.
Electronic signatures, without another tool.
No separate e-signature account to pay for, and no copying documents between systems. Signing requests are sent, tracked and kept with the customer.
-
Sent on the customer’s channel
Each signer gets their own link by email, text or WhatsApp, from the thread you are already talking in.
-
Signed on their phone
Customers read and sign on a page branded as your business: draw or type a signature, initial, check boxes and fill in the fields you placed.
-
Your documents, ready to go
Keep terms, order forms and agreements in a library with their fields placed. Customer details are filled in for you and locked.
-
More than one signer
Add a second customer or a guarantor, set who signs first, and countersign from Threadkite when it is your turn.
-
Sealed, with a certificate
The signed PDF is sealed and timestamped, with a certificate page saying who signed what, when and how.
-
An optional one-time code
Ask a signer to enter a code sent to their phone or email before the document opens.
Questions
See what else is in Pro, or how documents fit with your other systems.
- Are electronic signatures legally binding?
- For most business and customer agreements, yes. Threadkite gives simple electronic signatures, which are recognized by the Electronic Communications Act 2000 in the UK, eIDAS in the EU, and the ESIGN Act and UETA in the US. Each signed document has a certificate recording the signer’s consent, each action and the time it happened.
- What can’t I send?
- Documents the law says need a witness or a particular process: deeds, wills, Land Registry dispositions and regulated credit agreements a lender signs on its own platform. If you aren’t sure, ask your legal adviser.
- Do my customers need an account?
- No. They open the link on any phone or computer and sign in the browser. Nothing to download.
- Is it a DocuSign alternative?
- For the documents you send to customers, yes. You send, track and keep them where the conversation already is, without a separate e-signature account or a per-user license.
- Can documents from my other systems be signed?
- Yes. Upload a PDF made anywhere, such as a quote from your accounts system or an order form from your DMS. Your systems can also send documents for signature through the API and hear when they are signed by webhook.
- How much does it cost?
- Signing is part of Pro, at $28 a Full seat a month billed yearly, or $35 monthly. Each Full seat includes 10 signing requests a month, shared by the whole team; after that each one is $0.65, up to a limit you set.
